Types of Membership

Optional AAMT publications (no longer available)
Individual membership
All individual members receive:
• QAMT digital Newsletters
• affiliation to the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT) including access to AAMT discounts and special offers
• teacher and student activities notices
• membership discounts to workshops, conferences and resources
• full voting rights (not available to pre-service teacher members in their first year of membership)
In addition:
Full members and Associate members receive the Queensland Teaching Mathematics journal (usually quarterly).
Pre-service teacher and retiree members receive the Queensland Teaching Mathematics journal in digital format by email but can pay extra to receive a printed copy of The Queensland Teaching Mathematics Journal.
Institutional membership
Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and P-12 Campus institutions such as schools, colleges, universities and libraries.

• affiliation to AAMT plus discounts and special offers
• full voting rights for two nominees
• members’ discounts for four nominees (six nominees for P–12 Campus) from each institution for professional development activities.
Optional Publications
• The AAMT Australian Senior Maths Journal and The AAMT Australian Primary Mathematics Classroom journal will no longer be published from 2026 onwards
